CoServ Utilities
CoServ started life in 1937 as Denton Electric Cooperative. As a corporate sponsor of the minor league ball team in Frisco, Texas, it wanted light institutional ads that played on its longtime presence. I built a series of eight around the tagline, "We were here," each using a piece of ball slang to focus on a moment in the game’s history. Below is the insert copy. Note the CoServ slogan, "Pulling Together to Power Tomorrow," which is mine.
